TypeAssist AI
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the TypeAssist AI app and keyboard ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
TypeAssist AI is an iOS keyboard that uses artificial intelligence to rewrite, translate, and improve text you select. Results are generated by AI and provided on an "as is" basis for your convenience.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use TypeAssist AI to:
- Violate any law or the rights of others;
- Generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, hateful, or abusive content;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service;
- Process content you do not have the right to submit.
3. AI-generated content
TypeAssist AI's writing features are powered by the OpenAI API. AI output may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your context. You are responsible for reviewing any rewritten text before you use or send it. TypeAssist AI is a writing aid and does not guarantee the correctness of any result. Your use of AI features must also comply with OpenAI's applicable usage policies.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Payments are handled by Apple; refunds are subject to Apple's policies.
Because TypeAssist AI is distributed through Apple's App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these Terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict for App Store distribution, the standard EULA applies. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its design, branding, and software are owned by TypeAssist AI and protected by applicable laws. Text you submit and the results you receive remain yours; we claim no ownership over your content.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypeAssist AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
8. Changes to the service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time, and we may update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
